Crime Spree Dominates Carmen Diode World Top Ten Golfer Rankings News

This past week was arguably the most significant week in professional golf for 2006, but all of that was lost in a week
where baseball's world series was decided (congratulations to the St. Louis Cardinals), radio commentator Rush Limbaugh
made fun of actor Michael Fox's Parkinson's affliction, a notable celebrity couple (Reese Witherspoon and Ryan
Phillippe) decided to call it quits, and St. Louis was being tagged as America's most dangerous city

Rookie Troy Matteson Stalks Tiger on CD World Top Ten Golfer rankings

Joe Durant ended a five-year winless streak on the PGA tour by winning the Funai Disney Classic in Orlando, Fla..
Durant's winning score was 25 under par and four shots better than Rookie Troy Matteson and Frank Lickliter IIIII who
finished tied for second place. Justin Rose, who led after the first and second rounds looked like a fly in the attire
that he wore in Sunday's final round and finished in fourth place.

Tiger STILL Tops Top Ten Golfer List

Tiger Woods remains atop the Carmen Diode (CD) World Top Ten Golfer rankings even though he saw no action for the week
just ended (at least he saw no professional tournament action - one can only speculate on the action that he is seeing
with wife Elin). The Golf Channel Tiger win streak remains in tact since Tiger did not lose a tournament.

Tiger Tops Top Ten Golfer List

Tiger Woods reclaimed the top spot in the Carmen Diode (CD) World Top Ten Golfer rankinks after his run-away victory at
the American Express Championship. Woods finished eight shots ahead of Adam Scott and Ian Poulter who tied for second
place. Tiger finished at 23-under 261, his second-lowest score over 72 holes in his PGA Tour career.

Thomas Bjorn Reaction to Ryder Cup & Skins Game Selections

The past few weeks have not been particularly good for Danish golfer,
Thomas Bjorn. The thirty-five year old pro from
Denmark was snubbed twice by the golf world just in the last week alone when he was passed over for the 2006 European
Ryder Cup golf team and passed over by the folks at
ABC for this years “Skins Game”. Several weeks ago ABC also failed to name Bjorn as one of the celebrities for the

Nicklaus to be Awarded Nation's Highest Civil Award

Last week, the White House announced its list of recipients for the Presidential Medal of Freedom, to be awarded this
Wednesday. The Medal of Freedom was established by Harry Truman following World War II as Americ's highest civilian
honor. This year's list included fourteen individuals from all walks of life, from Federal Reserves Chair Alan
Greenspan to Aretha Franklin, Carol Burnett, and Andy Griffeth. The list also included a couple of legendary athletes,
