The championship golf course at The Phoenician Golf Club is comprised of three 9-hole courses located on 150 acres of pristinely manicured fairways and vibrant greens. The Phoenician golf courses are a slice of heaven located in the Sonoran Desert with the spectacular backdrop of the Camelback Mountains, the courses vary in elevation and the natural desert surroundings are woven into the courses. Each course is named after and aspect of the Arizona terrain – Oasis, Canyon and Desert. The courses offer the diversity and challenge golfers are looking for in a course, but also add the tranquility and beauty that makes the game of golf enjoyable.

The Oasis Course was designed by Homer Flint. Making use of the fabled oasis mirage in the desert, this course showcases numerous water features where ever possible. Many of the holes have well protected and tiered greens, a player is forced to make their approach shot over numerous lakes and traps.

The Desert Course was designed Ted Robinson, Sr. This plays close to the Camelback Mountains and is a target style design. The designer made exceptional use of the surrounding mesquite, saguaro cacti and desert sage landscape to create a true desert style golf experience. The bunker guarded tiered greens and elevated tees this course is sure to test every club in the bag and your accuracy.

The Canyon Course was designed by both Ted Robinson, Sr. and Homer Flint. Robinson was designer for the first 7 holes while Flint took on the 8th and 9th holes. This course is located on the southern slope of the Camelback Mountains and offers incredible views into the Valley of the Sun. The signature hole is the par-3 seventh. This 205 yard hole requires a downhill shot over desert and lake to make a safe landing on the green and will challenge every golfer from one of the five tee placements.
